Students, parents, employers, professions and governments all rely on the quality of higher education teaching and research and the integrity of qualifications. Systems and processes of quality assurance and enhancement within professions, industries and education systems at national and international levels provide reassurance to stakeholders that quality and standards are being achieved and maintained.
I have first-hand experience of designing quality systems at national level in higher education and implementing quality assurance and enhancement arrangements in higher education institutions. My research and consultancy projects have focused on principles and practices in different educational settings and countries (see resources).
I work with colleagues to advise higher education providers, agencies and governments on how to improve quality in higher education settings.
